Where can i get 21w bulbs for this type of indicator? They are quite small.
indicators
Look like the ones I bought from MAC#1. Try them.
Ask in a bike shop - I got some oddities there that couldn't be found in car-related shops like Halfrauds.
David
I tried a couple of bike shops and they looked at me funny and said "what's it for" and i told them and they laughed!! W*****s!
I'll give MAC#1 a call.
I think Car Builder Solutions / NF Auto sell those ones, might have spare bulbs too?

Nobody has them, that's why the bike shop laughed, the bike mini indicators use the same ones. Bike shops will sell you some proper ones to replace them when you realise you can't get bulbs though, problem is you've already drilled holes to fit them.
I like the idea wing mounted indicators, where can I get one with normal bulbs?
they are for 10 w bulbs,no-one makes a 21 w that size.
i used a spare pair of 10w bulbs under the dash to take up the slack, more expensive flasher unit may be able to compensate tho
Will the fact that the rear bulbs are normal mean that they will flash faster but not as fast as if they were all 10w?
If they are like regular indicator bulbs but with a small glass as opposed to the standard glass....
Premier wiring has some I believe - Alan sold me some a while ago

If they are as Mark describes - that's exactly what I got from the bike shop. My car's got a pair of those after-market bike indicators
that originally came with 10W bulbs. Now they all come with 21W, but they're smaller than the car ones.
Maybe you need to locate a better bike shop!
David
I believe mine ( the ones in the picture) had 23w bulbs ,but now I have 10w which work fine.
But then I dont need an SVA........
what about vwp? http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.co.uk/VWPweb2000/lights-3/lights-3.html
23 W BA9 for 93p? surely they are not smaller than that? else look at the bulb holders and fit that with a different bulb.
of stick in some LEDs but that will mess up indicator flash rate unless you use flasher unit that is not sensitive to load.

Yup they look ideal. I'll order some and see if they fit, look like they will!
