I have old v.d.o gaugea with x flow engine and premier wiring loom.

Will the gauges work or are v.d.o and ford sensors incompatible.

Also fuel sender...does it have to be v.d.o.
Simple answers for a simple person please.

I am pretty sure that VDO clocks only work with VDO sensors, although I may be wrong. Come to think of it, that wasn't much help at all.
