Sorry chaps.
I will get there in the end.
On My Edis the wire from 1 and 3 are shielded and also have a brown wire (Earth) shielded with them. This wire is connected to 7 one end.
My question is should I earth it the other (Mega squirt) end?
Or remove it totally?
Or just cut it of a bit short allowing the joining of the other two wires?

ground it a the EDIS end (pin7), and NOT at the MS End
