I tried araldited and i lost 2 magnets and the others were not where they were suposed to be!!

I fitted 2 magnets 180deg opposed onto the Diff prop adaptor - not onto the prop itself. The diff has less movement in it so keeps the distance between magnets and sensor more stable.
Adhesive:
1. Used araldite at first (not the fast set stuff). OK for 1200 miles until i had g/box leak - transmission oil got onto araldite and seemed to soften it. I lost one magnet.
2. Ive now glued the magnets firstly with Wurth 2 part superglue and then with JB Quikweld all around to supprt the magnet (also a very light smear over the top.)

Forgot to say - before bonding the prop adaptor was filed to ensure i had a roughened bright surface and both this and the magnets were cleaned with Wurth spray cleaner (very heavy duty stuff).
