lights relays

hi ya , got indicator and hazzhards sorted now , just dip beam and main beam to sort out . do i need 2 seperate relays , or just one , running on a normal rocker switch for side and head lamps , i have a sierra stalk for main beam , if any one has wiring diagram would be great

Side lights probably don't need a relay. They only draw 1.65 A. Assuming 5 watts a corner. Dip beam is up to you and depends mostly upon the switch you use. I would suggest a relay for the main beam though.

Probably best to run two relays as it is better for the dip switch.

defo better to have one for main/dip, and if you are feeling flush and want some redundancy, one for each bulb so that if a relay blows, you sill have ther other lamp working .

maplins sell the relays, less than £ 2.

just use a 5 leg changeover relay, no need for two relays.
