Hi folks,
I'm now in the process of wiring up. It seems to me that the Sierra wires are a lighter gauge than the escort, I guess as the Sierra is equipped
with relays. Two things - are the short bits of wire I have attached to my Sierra terminal blocks going to be 'man enough' to handle the
current if soldered to the escort loom and also - is the internal switching up to the job. I really don't want to be arsing around with a load of
relays!
What did you do?
Don't suppose anyone jotted down the cross matching of the wiring colours etc between Essy and Sierra?

Hi, not absolutely sure, but fairly so, that the switch gear on the Sierra stalks are not up to the job of dealing with heavy loads, I think that
despite your "not wanting to arse about with relays" you are going to have to, . May be talking through my a**e, but don't think so.

You could wire it to aftermarket switch gear, and mount them on the dash, but you would need to know the rating of the switches, to be sure they would
carry the load.
