points dizzy coil plugs

Hi

anyone know where i can get hold of some new rubber plugs for connection to the low tension studs on a coil?
I already have one on the lead from the distributor but I'd like to replace the eyelet connector on the vicki green loom to connect the poistive side

I take it I'm right that it's one of the white/white black wires that connects to the coil

thanks

When i was running a 1300 Cross Flow in my Escort, prior to getting another one for the Kit, the low tension leads were connected with crimped female bullet connectors.

You should find the studs have a thread. Just use a eyeletted male spade on the LT terminals held on with a suitable nut.
White to pos terminal, black/white to negative (goes off to rev counter so you still need to add a connection from neg terminal to dizzy.

as ^^^ said; there usually is a square u-shaped bit of metal with a hole that fits over the stud with two 4.7 mm male spade terminals; exactly like this:
that will et you back all of 15 p (I have made one from copper tube, slit it and cut/file to shape)

you can either use a ring terminal crimped onto the wire or female spade terminal with the connector shown above.
