Couple of quick questions to help me finish off my MJ/EDIS wiring.

1) VR sensor (off a fiesta) has one white/red wire and one black/red. Any ideas which is +ve and which is -ve. Terminal inside has a 5 which I thought might indicate it goes to pin 5 on the EDIS i.e. -ve I have another VR sensor (also from a Fiesta) that has blue/green and blue/yellow so I could use that one.

2) The MJ v3 diagram shows a 25 micro farad capacitor from live to earth. Seems odd but I'm no sparky really. Where would I get one of these?

Not certain about the VR sensor wiring but ideally you need to match the colours with the wiring on the plug.If you want to use the one with odd colours then just check the terminals on the one with the correct colour coding to see which is connected to each wire.Connect it temporarily to start with and if it doesnt start just swap them over , it will not do any harm.
You do not need the capaciitor it is there as OEM fitment for radio suppresion and has no effect on the ignition unit.

I was planning the "wire it and see if it works" trick but wasn't sure if it might damage something.
