I´m trying to plan for a new relay solution in my car. I want nice and clean but still hidden. An idea is to place the relays under the scuttle on a rack and can be tipped down to reach them.
Anyone done that and can share some pics of their solution?

you don't wanna see what I have in mine

if I were douing ut, the locost way would be to go to scrappies and get a realy/fuse housing or if you have £££, then look at @ VWP modular realy/fuse systems.

Either of these look so nice you won't want to hide them

I made an ally panel that goes from the suttle "hoop" on the MK chassis, down to the cross bar chassis member that forms top of the footwell above your knees. It's the width of the car.

This allows you to tuck all the under dash wiring behind it out of the way. I then mounted the relays and fuses on the front of the panel above the tunnel so they're out of the knee area for SVA. You end up with them out of sight, but relatively easy to get to.

I'll try and dig out a photo if I have one.

Fuse holders and relays are from Vehicle Wiring Products, the relays come with a little mounting bracket that is rivetted to the panel. Wires coming through the panel are protected by fitting grommets.

I am just working on the wiring now. I think fuses particularly but relays as well, should be readily accessible so I have put them on the scuttle. I cannot remember where I bought the relay base but it is neat and keeps the wiring hidden.

I will make a curved panel to go from the top rail to the bottom rail that is removable to allow access.

Here it is from the front. It will be hidden by the ally upright scuttle bulkhead.
