Having trouble calibrating the speedo healer, I have a 1997 Fireblade but we are using the 1998 speedo sensor (that is normally mounted in the gearbox) externally it is picking up a signal from 2 magnets mounted on the prop adaptor. When you put the speedo healer into test mode it moves the needle on the speedo to 15mph and when you rotate the prop so that the magnets pass the sensor the led lights up (signal being recieved). When you reset the speedo healer and put it into transparent mode to calculate the total error, the speedo does not read at all, when the wheels are jacked up on axel stands, or on the road.

Would also be grateful if anyone could give there calibration details for a 97 or 98 blade with 195/55/R15 Tyres and a 3.92 Non LSD Diff.

Just a thought

if you've got to speed up the signals, couldn't you just use more magnets spread equally around the prop rather than buying another unit to speed up the rate?

I think its definatly worth a try before i fork out for another unit

That's what I'd suggest. I think there's 4 magnets/pickups in the bike box, quite possibly more though, so to save a lot of money just add more magnets. If that doesn't work, just add some more until it works!

Or just use a 1997 speedo sensor instead of a 1998
