Anyone got a wiring diagram for the steering column switches on a sierrra ? Thought it would be easy to ring them out but I have to admit failure.
Not a good time to mention I'm an electrical engineer is it?
or look at my pic archive there is a pic wich says wich pns joins together when doing what!
easy not?
tks
ok I'll try s-e-a-r-c-h-i-n-g then
The Sierra Haynes manual is available online... Worked for me..... Takes a bit of interpreting because its in black and white as mentioned...
There are also quite a few variations of pin combinations
There are at least 3 different types of switches and you'll need to know which ones you have before you can wire them up. Early ones used no relays and carried the live but later ones switch the earth of the relays so will not carry heavy current for long without burning out. Somewhere on the switches there is an i.d. like 53g.
Benb,
may you put a link for the sierra manual on line?
Thankyou
