I have just got one of these.

Has anyone used one AND used the propshaft rather than a wheel for the speed sensor?
I need to know if it will come within range before I strip the car and wire it in?
Your only problem is working out the calibration as your prop will turn at a different rpm to your wheels.

Put the magnet and sensor on one of the inboard cv joints at the back. You can use the original wheel circumference as your calibration. And the
sensor and magnet are up out of the way, and easily accessable if needs be.

Why not tap into your existing speed sensor?

Fit your new sensor but reuse the wiring?
If you're going to start being logical you'll never get anywhere.
Thanks guys
