Sierra colum stalks

Hi

just looking at the stalks on my column and noticed that one of them is completely redundant as it only deals with wash and wipers.

It loks like both stalks are on the same unit, does anyone know if you can remove individual stalks or is it a case of cutting it off close to the body of the mounting?

Is there any reason this can't be done or will it for some reason knacker that stalk assembly

Thanks

I cut mine off right at the base of the stalk, works no problem

Just cut it off with a hacksaw at the root - that'll learn it

You should be able to unscrew the redundant side without disturbing the bit you want to keep - the two stalks are independent of each other.

Cancel that - I just realised the bit you're on about.

Yeah, just hack it off lest it never return!

Mine just unscrewed and left the holder round the column with the indicator on it.
