Hi, I'm trying to figure out how the IAC valve on the Pinto is controlled. Is it reset at every startup? Is the valve driven by a stepping motor or just pulse width controlled? Does anybody have more info on the electric part of the IAC?

Just a solenoid opened by a pulse and closed by switching off current/voltage flow. Switched off possition is closed so automatic reset if you want to call it this.
