Evening all,
Im running a 16valve 4age motor on jenvey thottle bodies and an omex 600 ecu, with the original(re-coned) alternator all wired together with the raw
wiring loom and the omex wiring loom.
and on the dash im using a etb digidash, which iteself has a charge warning light built in, (it measures the voltage itself rather than using an
output from the alternator).
the problem is the charge warning light on the digidash does not want to go off, this is all across the rev range. At the moment i only have one wire
connected to the alternator and there is a three pin connector which is compleatly unused and is to do with the voltage regulator.
where do i need to connect these three wires to?
1.black/yellow - do i need to feed 12v into this?
2.yellow - supposed to be for warning light? do i need this
3.white - connect to main suply?
alternator back
And the rest of the car...
dash on
side on
side front
bonnet off
Like so. Dont know what connects to the third terminal.

cheers for that, i didnt realise that the alternator needed 12v to work.....i now have a healthy reading of 14 volts rather than 2....
thanks
Hi
What gearbox have you hooked the 4age up to? Is it a T50? I'm wanting to use one and am interested in how others have done it.
Thanks
