I have found a good deal on one of these. How useful can it be? I have absolutely no idea how it would be hooked up, what it needs, or whether it's even for a 4 cyl engine. I fear it's one of those "mega" complicated things, if you get my drift.

from the looks of it it is not one of those complicated mega watsits.

Megajolt is 3D mappable ignition system that does away with the std dizzy.
The MSD jobbie looks like a electronic conversion for std dizzy, or maybe just a std ignition amplifier to give you a bigger spark.
