anyone used a sierra 4x4 as a donor, and got a starter motor? got a new one from motor factors, but too long, it's a '91 2.9. cheers!

Hi I kept the starter of the my XR4x4 donor,it was E reg 2.8 , early gearbox , type 9 ??? I can email some pics if they will help with identification
