Veypour dash
spaximus - 5/2/08 at 12:05 PM

Hi all I bought one of these to use in my Westfield Track car, which will be SVAed. Looking at in now when sat in the seat it looks so small. Has anyone used one and got through the SVA and is it readable when driving? Did it also take a lot of setting to work acuratly.

Thanks in advance

I passed SVA with a Veypor dash.

Ive got one which I fitted post SVA and I love it. Great value and it's spot on accurate, useful in a BEC as it shows current gear, even got a shift light
The only thing wrong with it is it's a bit hard on your clutch (Auto 0-60 logger)

There are 3 0r 4 different modes of display too so one will suit.
Easy to set up, theres only 1 sensor wheel/prop and 3 wires!

Seiously the only thing wrong is the buttons are slightly fiddly if wearing gloves and dri ving fast at the same time!

Both Vaypor and Veypor make digital dashes, different companies.

Do they have a backlight?

Possible to rig it to come on when headlights are turned on like a normal dash?

Cheers,
James
