I'm just trying to wire up my savage hazard switch. OH what fun it is!
as i need a few wires would this be ok for them.

i was going to put the switch on the tunnel cover, would that be ok?

all the hazard does is link the two indicator circuits together and connect them to the relay. You can use one of mordern relays that either have a
constant flash rate regardless of load or have the hazard function built in.

Thanks for the diagram, your way does make it look easier, i've already got relays as they came with the MNR loom.
Is that relay on a perm live then? so that the indicators work with ignition off.
i'll give it ago your way and see what gives
John, just out of interest, why are you not using the hazard switch on the column?
just a bit, this is the layout I use it’s very easy. I have left out the small additional wiring to light the switch and the indicator warning lights
for clarity. I also forgot the two diodes otherwise both sides come on at the same time when using the indicators This is the type of relay to use

hmmm diodes, my extra wiring technique didn't need diodes, when i tested it
Stu, no real reason i just bought some savage switches. i did read somewhere that the sierra hazard switch can get in your line of sight.
and i like to make life difficult!

If it gets in your line of sight either you're scuttle is seriously low or you've seriously short and sitting very near the steering wheel!!!!!
