Digi Dash
GraemeC - 28/2/08 at 12:08 PM

Hi, new to the forum and looking for advice/experiences with Digidash. Initially I was considering traditional type dials, but now I'm beginning to sway. Is the Digidash worth it for track days, is it OK for general day to day use? Comments please.

Contact Marc or Colin at Mac 1 motorsports http://www.mac1motorsports.co.uk/ They are re sellers for the Digidash.

My god! They will let anyone in here

I forgot to say earlier that ETB themselves are good at answering queries etc when you get to the nitty gritty. Ive git the email addresses for John and Alistair.

The cheaper dashes that a lot of people will soon tell you about are good when compared to each other but imho the digidash should be compared to Stack , EVOdash, AIM etc units. Its a proper bit of kit equally at home in a serious road car or on the track.

My mate Gav had a DigiDash, awesome bit of kit and it's inspired me to utilise the S2000 digital dash

Get one, you won't be dissapointed!

Mac#1 should look after you nicely

S2000 digi dash - now there is a good idea for you G.

Muzchap is a top lad and no doubt will share his knowledge. Defo worth sending him an email with your rough plans.

I'm using the S2000 engine too. Don't know much about the digital dash from it, although I see they are available. What are the features?

Murray, Is the S2000 dash a self contained SVA compliant unit or in need of some additional warning lights etc? Does it simply plug into standard loom ie easy to get wired in? Only experience ive had in grafting OE dash units to other cars is that the wiring is not intuitive unlike (eg) a digidash that is designed for aftermarket instalation.

Hi guys,

Sorry it's taken so long to reply!

Yip - it's fully SVA compliant - has all the bells and whistles - although I can't be arsed to wire it all in

To do it correctly would take hours and involve grafting into the loom and just don't have the time or inclination

The 'CHEAT' way - is just to wire into the bulbs copper tracks - as they are all twist off bulbs Which is what I'm going to do

Or - even easier is a BRIGHT 6 LED cluster above the steering wheel, fog light switch to the right (savage) and a Dual Oil Pressure/Temp guage - and then plonk the S2000 unit in the middle of the dash area

It has a wicked KMH/MPH switch - so you can freak 'stupid' people out and say you are doing 250mph, when it's really kmh

I have a video of the dash wired in and working if you want me to send it? Just U2U me
