Fuel sender for Acewell Dash
DavidW - 2/6/08 at 06:40 PM

Hi

Could anyone recommend me fuel sender to go with my Acewell 3250 from the bulk buy? I have an MK tank.

Thanks in advance.

I bought a Racetech fuel sender with a gauge but tried with my 3250 and it works OK

Acewell do their own £36 retail + Vat - I can get you a discount on it but not quite as good as the group buy. You would obviously have to cut/drill the tank to suit.HTH

Thanks for the responses.

I went for the Racetech as I think it's cheaper option although would have been very happy to have done more business with Russ.

Sorry to hijack the thread - does anyone know if the Ford Sierra sender will work with a 3250?

I bought mine from Acewell. Its designed to fit in a shallower tank so you need to extend it to get it to work properly.

Just check the resistance of the Sierra sender, providing it's around one of the 3 ranges the 3250 covers you should be fine.

Thanks Russ

I hooked it up today and it seems to work - just need to check it changes OK as the fuel level drops. It's registering almost full which is the same as the sierra gague was showing.

Just need to get the speedo sensor fitted now.

Cheers
