Hi...

Can anyone I D the sender on my car? I am wiring the car but am unsure what the 2 connectrions are for , whether one is an earth or a return to the dashboard.

Can't help with the wiring but would suggest replacing the plastic fuel pipe before it causes problems

will do. Its being rebuilt.

The plastic looking pipe is a breather and narrower diameter than the fuel outlet if that helps identify it??

Generally one tag is the chassis and the other goes to the gauge. The chassis one is usually fairly obviously spot welded to the metal body of the sender. If you can't tell from that, use a meter on a low ohms range to determine which tag goes to the body of the sender.

no its a metal tank

Ive done as macbeast suggested and it seems to be an earth. Thanks Guys
