Hi builders!
Im building Tiger Cat E1 (LHD) with Pinto EFI (´93) engine and I would like buy some premade wiring loom with schema for totally greenhorn in
electric.
For now I making choice between this:
1. Tiger loom - but I dont know if in this price (around 100 GBP) is include schema.
2. Westfield loom - for 200GBP - too expensive - I dont know what is include and if this one is twice better than Tiger loom?
Old Sierra wiring loom I have - but its maze - from it I use only engine loom for EFI with ECU unit - am I raight?
Pls, do you have some recommendation for me?
Are this looms compatible with EFI engine loom and Sierra stalkers?
Which is the best one for the money?
Thx for reply.
Cheers, Petr
Try Premier, around £120 for a basic Sierra type loom I think and full diagrams included. V.helpful on the phone also.
clicky
The Vicky green loom from GBS (Robin Hood) is good with a detailed diagram.

Neither!
My recommendation is a Premier Wiring Loom

I've fitted 2 to cars and they are competitively priced, well made and come with good instructions. There is also a phone helpline and the bloke
that runs the buisness is great to deal with.
Thoroughly recommended!

I didn't get a diagram with my Premier loom.
Instructions are not brilliant either - but at least I now know what each wire is for
And I don't think much of the Vicky Green - at least the diagram I've seen, drawn by a drunken spider.
Speaking as a professional broadcast installation engineer here.
I'd also recommend a Premiere Wiring Loom. I used their 'Lucas Uni-loom' for my car. Didn't come with a wiring diagram but did
have a big sheet of waterproof instructions. I had no trouble following them

Thx for advices and sugestions!
Im heared something about Primer wiring loom - but this loom isn´t so much suitable for greenhorns :-(
Quotation from this site: Westfield with Primer loom

This is taking ages, I think the next car I build (if ever), I'll get a loom already made. There is one benefit however, it's customisable so I can fit it which every way around I like, it just takes a bit more time.

Premier loom and service from Alan much better than Vicky Green which varies according to when it was made- have a look on RHOCAR where lots of
Hoodies have wrangled over which wire goes where!
There's a new firm appearing in one of the mags based at Getna which is quite close to us- they reckon they will label every wire but I doubt if
they can compete with the Premier loom for £100 (CASH)
Also if you tell Alan what you want he will be able to customise basic loom to your specs as everyone is made up to order

Due this I think that for me would be bette use premade Tiger or West wiring loom, isnt it? But which is better for the price?
Another vote for the Premier loom . Instructions are probably easier than a wiring diagram. If you are using Sierra switches then send Alan the
multiplug connectors and about 300mm of the cables for the column switches, he can then attach the plugs to your loom
