I have just come into posetion of a ZX9 battery and was wondering if it would have enough guts to power my 03 R1 cant seem to find what spec battery is required for the r1

Can't think of a reason why it would have an issue. Both will have similar compression ratios and similar amounts of mass to get spinning....
