I'd like to have a keyless ignition, by using switches that can only work if pressed in a certain order. Is it possible and if so how?

my mates 106 has a push button (number keypad) immobiliser system, mabye u can get something like this out of a production car and wire it up with a push button starter?

I fit an immoboliser, I have a bit about the size of a pen lid which you need to touch against a pad on the dash. Works fine for me. You can get proximaty ones which work if you have the bit in your pocket, i.e. no need to touch the dash
