I have a premier wiring harard and idicator relay, s-v-c hazard switch (which has about 100 terminals ) and are using the sierra stalks. Can anyone shed some light on how the hell you wire this lot up?!

Ive just reworked the bike wiring diagram to accept the sierra bits ie stalks and relays, if it helps I can email it to you. Its a bit rough yet but will give you a guide.
Re your other post (lights) why dont you use the setup as the bike.

You can't use the bike relay as it is only desined for 4 bulbs, the car requires 6, plus bikes don't have hazards.

Regards the lights, i am doing the same as the bike at the moment, the bikes dipped/main beam switches through high/low switch, and i'm not sure if the sierra was designed to take the load (the bikes obviously were)

Sorry misled you Ive grafted the indicator/ hazard assembly from the sierra into the bike electrics. When I said about the relays I was refering to the lights. Which will take the load.

Ill Email you my diagram. See it makes sence, Ive not done the Brake fluid waring or the fog light yet.

Only 26hrs a day, No its just on all day at the side of me so I can just keep up to speed

If you are using sierra switches do you really need a seperate hazard switch when you already have one ? ? The wiring loom from Premier is compatable with the sierra switches with fairly clear instructions. best of luck, Rusty

i bought a 3 pin flasher relay from premier, so pretty soon i'll be posting a quesiton like this!

in fact, theres no time like the present. so, does anyone know how a 3 pin relay can manage to do all the flashers and hazards? does it simply make the pulsed output and then the switches are after this? im not bothered if the indicators have to be preminantly live.

Are you using the sierra indicator/hazard assembly, if so its all built into the switch and you just connect the relay to it. If not will have to come up with a circuit and a couple of relays.

im using all sierra switchgear, so i probably would be better using the original relay too! but got tempted by a new one.

i'll see what the old loom looks like and make a choice then! thanks BTW...

Your new relay will most likely work OK because the forth terminal on the sierra relay is for a towing indicator and Im sure you wont want that

well i was hopinng to get the caravan out one day...

could be usefull, i was planning on getting a motorbike trailer to tow behind mine for when i go camping, the old locost boots are pretty titchy.
