has anybody built there own chopper/motorbike ?
and registered it?
thinking about building a chopper from scratch?
any tips?
been looking around and there's loads to think about, balance of bike, head stock/rake etc

i though about it for a while but the money you will lose is horrendous, i bought my v max for a third of the build cost

Have a look on here ch1ll1. Also there's a few people who sell chopper flat pack kits on Ebay.

I'm doing it at the moment.
Based on a chopperhandbook frame drawing and a Yamaha XS1100 lump.

I don't have a clue about the registration side of things.
As for the frame drawings I'm only using them for ideas as the XS1100 engine is shaft drive so nothing is easy.
