not going up by about £2k are they?...

hughpinder - 26/6/09 at 02:55 PM

Sadly predictable - as the number of units you sell drops, the cost per unit goes up ....

richardh - 26/6/09 at 03:34 PM

typical knee jerk reaction!
these folk are all morons (guess they all got A's at GCSE then)

One wonders what these folk will think up next. It frightens me really!

Couldnt agree more.

Seems like an odd decision until you look at it from a business perspective.

There is a limit to how cheap you can sell a product and still make a reasonable (worthwhile) profit especially if sales are alreay low.

If sales are high prices come down, sales are low prices go up.

I know somwbody who tried to buy a new fiesta and was told there was a 3 month waiting list as demand had went up since the scrappage scheme started

rusty nuts - 27/6/09 at 03:04 PM

Ordered a new Fiesta for the other half last week in May and was told it could be September before she gets it . Should get it at the price agreed in May and the scrappage allowance on my old Citroen XM that cost me £350 . thirteen years ago
