2cv alternator
well, i've aquired me a 2cv alternator now, but just double checking the wiring
tis marked
14V 30W
and
i figure + goes to battery positive.
but i'm not sure if EX is earth, or something else.
then there's the matter of a little blue/white wire that went from carb to alternator..
cheers

The little blue and white wire from alternator to carb is I believe a six volt supply to the autochoke and a manual choke conversion for the
electricaly challenged like me is easiest. Your friendly alternator man can tap it out if you cross his palm with silver. I would like to know how.

Neither, they were both 12v after 1964. you are thinking lawn mowers!
If you can keep you head, whilst all others around you are losing theirs, you are not fully aware of the situation
