Does anyone have an IVA friendly fog light wiring diagram?
I've tried searching and found a few descriptions of wiring for the fog light but just wondered if anyone had a diagram - I work much better
with pictures
I'm kind of stuck with the IVA wording, as I understand I will need to be able to switch fog on and off with either low or high beam (or
both?).
I was just going to take a fed off the low beam but figured it won't work on main beam then?

12v supply - fog light switch - fog light - earth point
job done,
the fog light circuit runs independantly to the dipped / main bean circuit, so its operational with dipped and main beam on

The IVA manual states:
"The lamps must only illuminate when dipped beam, main beam or front fog lamps are lit"
So the above wouldn't work would it??
What if I take the feed off the feed to rear lamps > switch > fog lamp > earth??

This came up on rhocar forum a few days ago. Options were to use terminal 56 (if using the later sierra switches) on either switch to earth a
switching relay to supply the fogs. Or take feeds to the fog light switch direct from the main and dip circuits through a suitable diode.

Another possible if using the late sierra switches would be to take a feed from a rear light supply direct to the fog and then run it's earth
back to the fog light switch on the dash and on to terminal 56. This is only earthed when headlights are on.

ok so just wire the 12v supply for the fog lamp switch into the wire that is leading out of the dip beam switch, that way when you turn the dip beams
on it will supply the fog light with 12v, the fog light will stay off until you flick the switch to turn it on and it won't be operational if
the dip beams are off

Not in my experience.

Took feed from rear side lights to fog to switch to terminal 56. The fog light comes on with dip and main and not on sides. Good you say except when
lights switched off the fof lights is out but it trips the relay that turns on the front lights, WTF????? Help
