Hi,
I am starting to wire up my ECU.
I am lookin to source some shielded wire for the connections from the edis module to the ecu.
I have looked aound and have only seen shielded cable at Maplins which is for audio cable.
can any one point me in the right direction to get some.

Many Thanks

I think its the microphone type screened cable you need - someone more knowledgable should be able to confirm

the only sensor that needs 'shieiding' is the crank sensor, isnt it? crank sensors come with a long lead of correct cable...mine did

Looking at the wiring diagram there is sheilded cable from the vr sensor to the edis module and the PIP and SAW cable from the edis module to the ecu also need to be shielded.

The trigger wheels stuff is designed for use under a bonnet (oil-resistant, etc), which is useful...

Maplins audio cable works fine, they do a twin shielded one that can be used for pip and saw connections, as mentioned only connect the shield at the edis end there is an earth point on the module.

Aye any audio type cable is ample for the signal from the vr sensor.
