LC-1 Gauge calibration
going on from chippy's post earlier i went to have a play with my LC-1 and try and get the DB Gauge reading correctly
i have been trying to get mine to work for the past hour, i seem to be coming to the same problem that the LM programmer won't perminantly
change the analog output 1 values so that they are the same as analog output 2.
it says in the installation manual that you can connect either analog output 1 or 2 the either the gauge or the ECU. it then goes on to to recommend
that you connect output 1 to the gauge and output 2 to the ecu (which ive done).
the LC-1 gives a 0-5v linear output, so im thinking that you need to calibrate the analog output 1 graph in the LM Programmer to be identical to the
analog output 2 graph (which is the 0-5v linear graph), but when i try to do this it and try to burn the graph to the lc-1 unit it just goes back to
the original narrowband graph (which is the 0.1-1.1v graph)?
am i missing something?
would it be a case of swopping over the analog outputs so that AO-1 goes to the MS & AO-2 goes to the Gauge?

See my post, as I posted an answer. Cheers Ray

Glad I'm not the only one having issues with this. My gauge didn't read above 12 and the megasquirt thought it was 11 on idle. I removed
mine while I have a think about it.

well now my Lambda is not working at all, tried switching the analog outputs over and putting the brown wire to the gauge and the yellow wire to the
MS ECU, and the dial just read at 10.27. then when i switch over to the brown wire it just reads 19.9!
do i have to do a fresh air calibration again?
any suggestions?

yes mate still not getting correct readings, i had a leak in my exhaust system and i have just sealed that up, im going to do a free air calibration
on it now and then try again,
will report back later on

just tried again but still no look,
i have connected analog output 2 to the DB Guage (it says to in the db gauge installation guide) which obviously left analog output 1 to connect to
the MS ECU.
then i did a free air calibration on the sensor and then went to start the car & the MS screen didn't even recognise the Lambda input, the
gauge on the screen just stayed red with 10.27 on the screen, the DB Gauge was reading 15.0 dead.
then realised that analog output one is set up at the factory to simulate a narrowband sensor, so i used the LM Programmer to change the outputs so
that it read the same and output 2 (i.e a wideband 0-5v scale) but still nothing!
please help
