Mega Squirt, anyone?
Just wondering if anyone has tried "mega squirt"...
You can find it on google, I believe that it's US based, but to my knowledge there are 3 versions: Mega Squirt, for stand-alone EFI management,
Mega Flash (?) for stand-alone Ignition control, and "Ultra Mega Squirt" for a combination of the two.

And Mega Jolt Light Junior (MJLJ) for stand alone ignition (usefull if running carbs).
And Mega Squirt and EDIS for both fuel injection and spark.
I have a Mega Squirt PCB that I was going to build up and use for just spark as I'm running twin 45 Webers. But now I'm gonna build the
MJLJ first.
That is once I've actually got the bloody thing on the road, std dizzy for now.
Cheers

Could someone explain what megasquirt is,what it does, and pro,s and cons.
This is a new one to me, but it sounds like a home made engine management.
I wait to be corrected...

It's kind of like those Heathkit radios that you build yourself, only fuel management.
You do build it yourself.
Nothing to correct you on.
