help on blackbird loom please

following on from my prop coming off problem I am deep into the rebuild but have a few questions piling up now.

1. what is the sequence of the wires from the ford type brake master cylinder cap?

2. Out of the ICU I have a green wire with a white trace which according to the wiring diagram normally goes to side stand switch and clutch switch, what should I do with this from the ICU?

3. As above I have a black with white trace that goes to both coils and to the stop switch normally, but i dont ahve the stop switch, what shall I do with this. Goes without saying I have the coils.

first of many I am sure..

thanks in advance

PIF.

As I mentioned in my U2U I need to check my diagrams for you in the morning.

Can't help with the Ford cap i am afraid.

As far as I can remember without looking at the diagram, the green/white ECU wire is grounded by the stand switch or the clutch switch to prevent the engine running when in gear unless the stand is up and the clutch is in.

I left the stand switch open circuit, but adapted the clutch switch with a micro switch on the clutch pedal so that if the car is in gear the clutch pedal has to be depressed before the engine can start as a bit of a safety measure. Works fine.

The stop switch pair can be shorted across. How do you plan on stopping it? Just using ignition?

As said, I will check the diagrams tomorrow and confirm the colours for you.

Cheers

Mike
