LED rings

Am I dreaming it or have i cracked up. I am sure I have seen some nice LED lights that have rings with more leds in.
Best way I think to describe em... Think of a porthole. Middle being one light. And the scres being a different one.
Do others a) know what I mean. and b) know where price or anything?

Hellfire,
They look fantastic, however I reckon you will need some kind of plinth behind them to ensure the faces of the lights are vertical for our friends at the SVA.
Maybe it's just the angle I'm looking at the picture?
All the best
Ali

We're hoping NOT. There is a tolerance in the SVA manual which allows the lights to be mounted out of vertical. I can't remember what the limits are in degrees but have seen other cars which have passed SVA with similar size lights mounted in the same position as ours. IIRC, only fog light has to be truly vertical.

As it happens, I was looking at the new SVA manual this morning, on the train...

The ONLY light that has to be vertical and square is the fog light, for the perfectly good reason that it's a bright red searchlight!

The only requirement on other lights is visibility from various angles.

cheers,

David

Col

I think David means angular position not shape of the light when he says 'vertical & square'.

Col,

what he said!

I meant "square" as in "90 degrees to the ground".

Ambiguous language, English...

David

Heheheh.

I check the SVA manual, and right enough I can't see any reference to the tail ights (other than the fog, as you say) being vertical.
Another one of my imagined regulations!
All the best,
Ali
