Sierra Indicator stalk

Have a slight problem with Indicators. The stalk has 2 positions, the first is temporary hold for quick couple of flashes etc, but then the second position is the constant on (and indicating mode). In position 1 the indicators are fine, but in pos 2, they sometimes dont work. This is similar for both left and right. I can get them to work by "joggling" the stalk a little...

I am guessing that this is more of a physical "switch" problem rather than relay etc ? The hazards work fine. Are they easy to take apart and fix ?

Cheers

Yep, sounds like the contacts and the switch itself.

Kindest Regards,

if you open up the stalk (a couple of clippy bits if I remember correctly) then you can give it a good clean and fill it with vasoline. It improves the action and may make it last longer.

Don't lose the little springs.
