NAS fog light from CBS no "B" or "F"

Ive got a NAS set of lights from CBS and none of the rear red lenses have a "B" or "F" mark on them.... as i read the IVA manual it states that the fog lens must have either of these markings... I called CBS to query this incase they had accidently put three stop/tail lenses in instead of two and a fog lens but the phone said no it was fine it would pass with that. Ive checked the lamps and they are correct 2xstop/tail and 1xfog (higher intensity)

Surely this cant be right?

One of my fail points was because the fog was not marked with the B or F mark. Luckily I have found another make that matches and is marked.

Are they LED or bulb?

They are bulb, well i guess the next question would be how i would go about getting a matching IVA passable lens fitted so it matched the NAS plinth or at least matched the hole ive already cut in the body.....

PS, adrian, another thing about the fog lights, i see on your build diary you failed because you could also turn the fog on when the side lights were on... to me the wording in the manual says that the fog must illuminate when either main or dipped is on, it certainly doesnt say.... only when main or dipped are on..... I guess this comes down to testers interpretation of the rules.... if so im going to also have to wire in a relay to switch it from the light switch as well.....

i also failed on this not sorced from cbs, but same lights, needs b or f and an internal reflector i'd make them change it. I'd had mine from ebay for ages before my sva think i ended up getting a landrover rear fog as this was marked up correctly i think it was made by pelie or something

i think this will be right but i'd send the seller an email just to check for the marking

Yep I failed because I could put them on from side lights so I have added a relay from the earth return to the headlight switch for that.
Do you have an auto electrical place near yo for the lights that is where I got mine from and gives a chance to see before buy.

Well its been a productive lunch break, got a relay from Maplin (what a great store!!!) been to BnQ for some stuff, called the ebay seller (thanks to Rickrick) who went to the back to get the lens and read out that there was an F mark before the EII. so i bought. ive also sent off for a cover note from insurance for the drive to IVA....

I still think that the ruling about fogs only on when the main and dipped are on is definately not stated word for word in the manual and is really out for interpretation.

Cheers
