Do we need full beam?

Do we need full beam or is it just headlight flash?

never seen any car that didn't use full beam on flashing so yes

anyway other wise how would you flash the lights if you were on dipped then? turning them off is not an option btw

Yes, you need dip and full/main beam. SVA didn't require a headlight flash but might be included now.

i think some people just use main beam when one of their of the head lights are out

My tintop has the usual switch for headlight flash but when the lights come on, it becomes the main beam on/off. Does anyone know how to wire this? If i can get round it this way, i will have a spare button on the dash to use as brake warning test

Yes, thats what we want.
- I spent a long time trying to get to the bottom of this here without as such a solid answer. I dont like my preposal as a solution, but im hard pushed to come up with a better one.
