locking bosch electronic dizzy
how to do it? fitting gotech management system and need to get rid of the mechanical advance the dizzy does

You will need to dismantle the unit. Inside you will find two bob weights that are controlled by springs, these will need to be either removed and the
advance plate spot welded to the shaft, or leave them on and spot weld them so they can't move, probably the easiest thing to do. HTH Ray
To make a car go faster, just add lightness. Colin Chapman - OR - fit a bigger engine. Chippy

if you are talking the carbed version for a pinto, then knock out the roll pin that hold the gear wheel on, and it all falls apart once thats out

yup that worked, took out the trusty welder and welded the weighs down its locked now
up next, fitting the gotech system
