Telemetrix tacho and megajolt

Can i just connect my smiths telemetrix input wire to the 'tach out' wire on the megajolt?

Don't want to fry the tacho it was expensive lol

Yes, that's what I've done. You can also use the tach output signal from the EDIS module if you like too.

no, its either/or

this is my job for this evening too - you've officially overtaken me on your build dan!

just take the tacho out from megajolt to the input on your rev counter. I believe the other method that old rev counters work is by receiving a high voltage kickback from the coil, so this is the milder of the two methods and even if wrong (its not wrong!) you wont fry it.
