Fitting them (well just the indicator one for now) to a sierra column, already sorted that bit out (bracket made from folded ali). Just the wiring to do. I am making my own loom so just need to know what wires do what.

There are two connectors on the back of the indicator stalk

A white one with 5 wires coming out of it:

1. Thick white
2. Brown
3. Light Purple
4. Grey
5. Orange

and a larger black connector with 8 wires coming out of it:

1. Thick white (1)
2. Brown
3. Thin green
4. Thick blue
5. Light purple
6. Thick White (2)
7. Thick green
8. thin red

The stalk has the following controls:

1. Horn
2. Indicators
3. side lights
4. dip beam
5. Main beam

I have tried working it out using a multimeter but couldn't seem to get very far. I am almost certain the thick white wires are the earths but from there ????

Someone must have a peugeot of some sort (assuming they use the same colour scheme on all their vehicles). Other wise I'll have to do a sneaky down the local library (Halfords)

thanks the guy who had done it only details the wiring for the wiper stalk.

However I have obtained a Haynes manual from a guy at work - *&^%%^ those peugeot wiring diagrams only detail connector colours and pin numbers NOT any wire colours. Almost worked it out but it has been a long process.
