Our kangoo has to be left for a while before it will unlock. Unplugging it didnt seem to help.
How long can i resist the temptation to drop a V8 in?

think you should be leaving the unit powered for approx 90min to allow it to reset then should allow input of the code. Assuming you haven't
locked it totally by inputing wrong code too many times.

press and hold the band button in for a few seconds. If this does not clear then leave the ignition on for up to two hours to clear it

For the first incorrect code the clearance time is 30 minutes.
For the second its doubled - 60 minutes.
For the third its doubled again - 120 minutes.
Thats the norm anyway and has to be powered throught. If the power is lost to the unit during this time then the timer starts again from the
beginning.
