tacho gauge not reading correctly

as title I have been supplied with 2 diodes to resolve this problem question is how do I wire them in ? im feeding it from the megajolt am I best going drectly from the EDIS or coilpack it seem to read low

Is it reading half of what you expect or only slightly low. Have you played with the DIP switches and set it to 8 cyl or 6 cyl mode.

Feeding from Megajolt usually works OK.

Feeding from the EDIS can be temperamental.

Feeding from a coil pack required 2 diodes and a Zener diode.

i have a similar problem on the puma system. has anyone got a diagram of the best way of wiring the tacho please. ooh i hate electrickery.
