Mega jolt Maps

Im hoping to plug my laptop into my megajolt tomorrow. I'm new to mappable ignition, is there a map already loaded onto the mj ecu or are there ignition maps available that i can copy to the ecu or do i have to set up my own. I have downloaded the configuaration software from autosports labs...any advice much appreciated

It should have a base map which is very safe for most engines, however it would be prudent to wire it up and use the tuning program to see what you have befor turning the engine over.
As a starting point you can set a 2 dimentional map similar to the engines original.
For the pinto something with 10 degs at start up and idle then going linier to around 36 to 38 degs 3600 revs.
There are maps on the web but the only a few and only once that have worked on specific engines, you will always have to rolling road you configuration

I'm only ten minutes away if you need any help or a shoulder to cry on.
I'm no expert but I've managed to install MS on my car.
I've got a good timing light too if you need one.
It's a busy time of year but I'll help if I can.
U2U me.

There's a map for CVH using TPS on the AutosportLabs site.
More than one.
I would think that a Zetec map ought to be safe starting point for a CVH as well.
