Headlight mounting options ?
Hello All,
Ive just about come to the point where i am fitting the front headlights to my spire, and debating with myself regarding the best way to fit them. For
the main's and dipped, i am using some Hella 90mm wide units (the same as these -
Lights )
Here's a photo of a completed spire which has exactly the same headlight setup that i would like to mimic.
My problem is to try and decide how i fix these to the inside of the fibreglass nose, while allowing them to remain adjustable from either the
exterior or interior. The units came with 3 adjusters and a metal ring but unfortunately with no instructions, and ive been unable to get a picture of
how other spire builders have been installed.
Does anyone have a picture or idea regards hows best to install these into a fibreglass nose ?
Cheers
Tris

not quite the same car, but the same idea. i'm going to get some square fibreglass/carbon boxes made up, witht he correct hole in the back, and
the lights just push in from the back. the box can them be shaped to fit the panel its fitting into using a flap wheel in a grinder. as for how to
attach the box to your car, it depends on how the body work works. mine has a nice shelf to sit it on, and bolt it to and stick it in with PU and or
bolts

don't write OT on a new thread title, you're creating the topic, everything you write is very much ON topic!
