wiring security - IVA
Appologies is this is in the wrong section
Ive secured my wiring (all in ducting) down the trans tunnel with steel p clips but for the engine bay i want to use cable tie bases, am i right in
assuming this is ok so long as the base is screwed/riveted to the chassis?
I dont want to do it then fail the IVA on it

Yes, it'll pass (stuck on bases won't), but why drill extra holes in the chassis instead of just putting the tie around the tubes?

yeah.... but you'll be using cable tie/tie wraps with the cable tie bases, so why not just cale tie round the chassis tubes?
