dash options

As Im now wiring the car, I am thinking about options for the dash instruments. I would like a single digital dash but cant go for anything expensive. I really like the acewell 3250. Just wondered what other options there are. Ive heard about using elise s1 clocks but cant find them at a locost price. Also how are these to wire in? Anyone dont it and come across real problems.

Advise as usual is welcome as well as pics of instruments to give me some inspiration. And I promise I wont copy your ideas!!

And as its my birthday tomorrow Im thinking of treating myself so idea's quick before the mrs decides I have no money

I use the vapor dash and it works very well (it is small) i can program the speed to less than 1 mph accuracy at 70mph (checked by sat nav) the only problem i have had is the speed sensor breaking (£20+ from vapor) however it turns out that the sensor is only a micro reed switch and they are readily available from the likes of maplins for 20-30p a time.

I fitted the acewel to mine with the additional warning lamp gizmo which has Main beam Battery, indicators handrake etc and have no problems

It has revs, mph, voltage, fuel, temp rev light and a few other functions, only problem I had was needed to extend the wire for the speedo to reach the diff

I fitted 4 additional 52 mm clock as well as the acewell is quite small and the dash looked a little bare
