fog light fitting

hi all
trying to fit my fog and reverse lights to my zero.
i am using the lights from GBS (the big ugly brick ones for now)
when i offer them up to boot area, they slant back a bit which i know isnt allowed for IVA.
they come with some rather flimsy brackets.
are people using these, since when i tried it with these, the lights didnt touch the boot area. a gap was left all around which i wasnt too sure about.
i then decided to try and cut the base plate to the right angle but then it started to hit rear reflector.
Eventually(sorry) my question is, how have other people managed to fit theirs.
pics would be nice too.
i intend to keep these brick style ones for now so changing them isnt an option for now
thanks
steve

an angled bracket would be my way! L-shaped then mount light to it!

Just makwe sure the bracket is either smaller than the light so it doesn't get the 'projection' treatment, or that it conforms to the radius requirements

It looks like the Midget is winning at the moment......

One of my fails in December was the flimsy metal bracket on the fog light which let it move too easily. I made up a wedge-shaped spacer and that made it solid.

Reverse light doesn't have to be vertical

I'm addicted to brake fluid, but I can stop anytime.
