fog light switch wiring
hi all
i`m stuck....again
can someone please explain in real simple terms how i get my feeds from lights to go to relay.
i know it can only come on with main and dip beam.
sure im missing something simple but just cant get my head round it at moment

From what I remember from my SVA you have dip beam then when you go to main beam you still have dip on so in theory you take the power feed for your
fog lamp from the dip beam, mine doesn't have a relay for the fog as it's only 21 watt so no major switching issue. don't forget the
tell tale

will check that out and see if same on mine.
im using a savage switch and think this lights up when switched on.
is this ok for a tell tale?

The fog light needs to work with main or dipped beams. If you are using savage switches then you will need to take a feed from each of the main and
dipped outputs. You will also need to fit diodes in line to prevent any backfeed.
If you do a search I'm sure a diagram will crop up.
The savage sw light is fine for a tell-tale.
