Pinto efi wiring diagram
Hello,
today , i started to dismantle my donor (1985 scorpio) for my tiger build.
Engine and gearbox are out.
I received with the kit a wiring loom for lights etc...
But what about the efi system.
Should i take the loom out of the scorpio, and keep only what i need of it, or is there any diagram that i can use to connect the ecu to injection,
dizzy etc...
thanks for advice,
Gerardo

As a rule you will need the engine loom and any associated components to get it to run. Many folk convert to carbs and run a megajolt system. Depends
on your budget and ultimate use for your toy.

Hi Geraldo
Ford wiring can be quite complex for strange things! remove and keep as much of your loom as possible helps if you mark up with masking tape and
simple notes where things went. Find a good wiring diagram for your correct model and then trim out the bits you don't need like lights and
climate control! Remember later Ford models have chipped keys and you need the transponders to suit. Safety first! don't junk anything until you
are up and running (that includes that funny black bit by the ignition key hole)
Actually I am pretty sure you don't have imobiliser on that year but I would be hanging on to all wiring, modules and switches till I was
certain.
Regards
Phil
